MichaelH has just put in a lovely article concerning the ladies who run the book club and what they did with their funds this year, on his info Ayamonte web site. Well done to the ladies who give up their time and to everyone who supports it.

Great work!! Well done on all your efforts to help the local community and also the leadership you show everyone that the British Community has a good name.
Happy and successful New Year - hope this year of giving is at least as good as last year

TOTALLY AGREE !!! The book club is great, I took a stack down expecting to find a table with a few to choose from as swaps BUT there are book cases full. I was in my element, like a kiddie in a really good sweet shop and came away with books written by authors I have been after for ages - FABULOUS !!
The lady I spoke to there asked if I could bring greeting cards which they sell for the charities they support so I have been picking up reasonably priced cards to take when we are next there.

Hats off to the Book Club. Year in Year out they show what a little here and a little there can do. They made a lot of Spanish families Christmas this year.
Also the Esuri Golf Club members do their part.
Actions like these don't go unnoticed and it's with pride I tell people what this club has done.
Costa Esuri has a lot going for it even in these difficult times and with people like this around it can't go far wrong.

Yes, I agree, well done to the Esuri Book Club and to the Esuri Golf Club for their tireless, good efforts to help others. Thanks to Michaelh for his updates too.
There was a lovely photo in the local press over the Christmas festive period.
