Default Weather in Nerja

Hi there everyone,

we are thinking of coming to Nerja for a couple of weeks from 17th April, but have been told that the weather is not too good then. I really want some sun so would be disappointed if we didnt get any and I would be really grateful if you could tell me what to expect please. We have been to Nerja several times, but usually October / November time.

Thanks in anticipation.

Well it has rained for about 3 months now with just a few sunny bits in between, so unless it changes dramaticly bring your wellies, raincoat and canoe.

I'm going to sue the Spanish Tourist Board for luring me here under false pretences. Costa del Sol, yeah right! More like Costa de la Deluge.

Thanks for looking and commenting on it - as I said there, those pics were taken last year - this year it's been raining virtually non-stop since mid December!! (We've just not had quite so much snow this year )

ps - this shows you what it's like today http://www.cantueso.net/wordpress/web-cam/ you can normally see the lake and the coast at Torre del Mar as in the lovely sunny pic at the top of the page!!!!!

I enjoyed the extreme weather hub as well. Well done Suki. I used to live near Granada and took loads of photos of our first snowy winter thinking it would be unusual. Must have had 4 in 8 years now. I like contrasting weather though, makes you appreciate both summer and winter conditions. I think my dog and kids are getting a bit fed up with the endless rain though. Spring please!

Yes - to think that when I came out here I was worried that I'd be bored by endless blue skies
