Water drinkable?

Hi...just curious .... is the tap water drinkable in Ayamonte ( or indeed Spain in general ) now?

I don't about Ayamonte but it's drinkable in Oliva, albeit absolutely disgusting.
Use bottled water for tea, just for the taste.

We are in CE and use tap water all the time' even for tea and squash; we don't think there is anything wrong with it. We also fill empty plastic bottles from the tap and put them in the fridge.

We brought most of our furniture over with us in a van and anything else came from IKEA with some odds and ends from carrefour or Leroy Merlin. I think there is a furniture shop on the industrial estate although others will know more about these. I can't get Ted into IKEA at home and it is within walking distance but here he doesn't mind a 2 1/2 hour round trip. Very strange

Hi Sandra, we have a duplex on Marina Esuri (M7) and we bought everything here. There are plenty of furniture and lighting shops around and about & you may want to consider ceiling fans in bedrooms so they would be better purchased here. Look forward to meeting you, Bryony

Ooh and whilst I think of it... have you got Wi-Fi in the apartment then or are you somewhere that does locally? .... Only reason is that when we come down we will have to have internet access for our business (boring). Sandra:)

We have been in Costa Esuri since 2005 and have never used bottled water. It is very soft so easy to lather and no scale in the kettle, coffee machine or steam iron.

Different plugs, so you will need to buy them in Spain, or use an adaptor, voltage is the same. I wouldn't bring light fittings as you would be advised to have ceiling fans in all rooms, apart from kitchen and bathroom. Takes a bit fo getting used to having plug sockets in bathrooms. We got our ceiling fans from a homewares shop, and they delivered them and fitted them FOC, while they were there we also slipped them a few Euros to move a light fitting from one room to another, saved hassle as they knew how to deal with the materials used in the ceilings etc
