Thanks a lot for that, we'll make sure we ask about language selection. To be honest, I don't have a clue about our telly, never changed language in the UK so will have to check when I go back.

The reason the Premier League brought the case was that via the Greek box she was/is able to get PL games live at 3 pm on a Saturday, something the pL does not allow SKY to broadcast in the UK as it might/will affect the attendance at games, Sky shows only the early or late KO matches live.

Most of us in Gran Canaria ..lost the BBC news programe as they moved it to another satalite and Itv could be next before Christmas if you dont have a 3 metre dish..

Highly likely. The "free to view" ITV1 regions that require a sky card to view are highly tipped to move satellite, with a more restrictive beam than they are currently on, and go "free to air" - ie no sky card.

And C4HD will also move to a satellite with a much weaker beam than it is currently on.

And the "fives" are also tipped to go "free to air" soon - but maybe not Five HD....

but you know you can curremntly still get the BBC Sports streams on a sky box.... even when you no longer have access to a BBC channel to launch the red button features.... http://www.satandpcguy.com/forum/sho...ency-(Sky-box-)
