Depends on the transport space you've got to play with. My reckoning is that washing machines are perfectly fine here (hard water problems notwithstanding, in our area at least).... though a bit more expensive, and with the £/euro, your choice... re tv, don't know. Ours is ark vintage!

Most times its cheaper to buy second hand here in Spain as there is always papers full of electric appliances at a very low price. Buy a power surge protector as many people lose every thing in one go, should the electric drop. It has just happened to a good friend of mine today. Every thing electric includes his water pump.Lost.

Your LCD TV and washing machine would be fine
I'm guessing that you may get better deals in the UK at the moment, although I bought my Plasma here last year for the same price as I could get in the UK.

You will need surge protectors, as stated by Johnny13

Be aware that most washing machines here are cold fill only........
So you may not have the correct plumbing in your property if you bring one over!

You would be better to buy a power surge protector should you have quality electricles. TVs ,Sterio etc etc You can buy exstention leads with them on or for around 160 euro a good one direct from the main electric feed.

Agreed. So long as you are already bringing a van of stuff over, so the extra load is "free". PLus of course that you have the room to keep them before your trip to Spain

Buy a miele washing machine they are cold fill and last a lifetime. We bought ours five years ago and still going strong.John lewis do the 5 year guarantee however if you are on a limited budget there are some on E-Bay. People move to houses with integrated kitchens so their washing machine is surplus to requirements and you can grab yourself a bargain. My only regret is that I didn't buy a washer dryer

You can get a y junction in the UK that fits on the cold supply and allows the correct amount of water in as if on a hot and cold wash.
I would buy here though, longer and easier warrenty and less to carry into the house. ;-))
