Hi all, we are due to visit the Costa Blanca South area with view to purchase a property. Can any of the members say what urbanisation properties are like in the winter months. Are they virtually empty, and is general maintenance work carried out in the winter months. Do the local bars, shops close at the end of the season.
I realise that a property will look totally different in off season as it will in summer.
Any info will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Dave.

Our urbanisation is always lively, many live there all year round, and nothing closes, maintenance is ongoing, but I imagine that in the condominions, with mainly holiday homes there are less people in winter, and it is the best time for maintenance, as it's cooler

Greenie sorry Dave, I recomend that you visit Lomas de Cabo Roig. open all year round (even the beach bars now) loads of people live on the Urbs close proximity to Zenia Boulevard The Strip & La fuente but not too close so its pieceful as well. Check it out.

Thanks very much for the replies, we are definitely getting an idea of areas that we will have a look at first.
Thanks again,
Dave.
