Hi,
I have done a search on the forum but there is nothing recent so does anybody have electricty/water and telephone line costs. I am more looking for standing charge plus unit costs rather than personel costs.

Look it up on the Iberdrola and Movistar sites. Electricity costs across Spain are controlled so there is not much difference between regions. Water prices are very dependant on the region even down to the town level.

cheers. just had a quick look for electricity. 42 euro per kw for standing charge and 0.12 euro per kwH, much the same as UK.

For many people, the standing charges are higher than consumption. Spain ( in general) has amongst the world's highest electricity prices. I'm sure you'll find it higher than Britain.

The key thing is to adopt a conservative mindset. LED lighting in cheap in Spain. Change every lamp to LED.
Also, get a day/night tariff, and run all of your appliances during the cheap hours. If you have a pool, set the pump timer to run during the cheap hours. It makes a big difference.
