Smile Union Jack removals Benidorm

Hi this company was recommended to us on this forum and to date all is well with an estimate that we are prepared to accept etc etc. Indeed very impressed by one of their employers who estimated here in France and he was very professional.

However have sent over six emails and my brother in law who lives in Calpe has left various messages all of which have not been responded to.

Any thoughts or views please?

They could of course simply be busy but that being the case please just kindly keep us in the loop.

We and our furniture could rough it but not our animals.

Please investigate this further. It´s probably nothing but when we moved from the UK 9 years ago, we had a similar problem. We were assured our belongings would be going on a certain date then it was delayed. We went to their warehouse and we were assured everything was OK. We moved over then found out that the company we had hired had gone into liquidation. We then had to get another company to recover our stuff and pay them again. As I said, it´s probably nothing but please be cautious as we were devastated at the time. It´s far more important to you as your pets are involved.

If you don't get through to them contact a rival company in the same area and ask them if they know what's going on.

I'd be getting in touch with a rival company for a quote if UJ didn't bother answering. Perhaps they've gone "Spanish", hardly anyone answers e-mails, it's the way they do business!

I do understand but the owners are citizens of the UK. But silence is not something that I am confortable with.

We will keep on trying until cob today then go elsewhere.

best wishes
