Back to the weather eh! Shetland West mainland currently minus 5 with solid ice underfoot and a light dusting of snow from last night. Set off to work this morning did 3 miles then turned round and went back home - sick of traction control and ABS.:thumbdown: |

It's been the north of Britain affected over the last couple ofdays (Manchester airport was shut for a while), but now southern england is being hit hard by snow. 40cm are expected in parts of southern England, which coupled with the cold conditions, will make many roads unpassable. If you're flying into/out of Luton, Heathrow, Birmingham check the Beeb updates. It's not looking good out there (unless you want to practice using your toboggan)

No sun here on the outskirts of London, just heavy snowfall and absolutely freezing even with the heating on all day (dreading the bills!!). :thumbdown: Just hope it's all gone by the time we leave for Spain towards the end of Jan so there are no delays. Can't wait to get out there. :thumbup:

All part of the wonderfull weather to be found in the UK.
Oh how I wish I could be there revelling in the snow, sleet and slush currently bringing the hyper efficient councils to their knees. Sadly tho I have to wander out to the orchard and pick me a couple of oranges. |
