The other Oscar, is far from boring, I am talking about Oscar Pistorios.

It seems a neighbour said she heard a woman screaming and shouting then 4 shots.

The defense lawyer said that when Mr P shouts his voice is very high pitched, and it was him screaming and shouting

I watched a bit today and he has not come across in a good light from his ex, a woman scorned maybe..........but interesting to show him as trigger happy and easily angered.

Will he get off? Personally I don't think he's got a leg to stand on ;)

Doesn't look like that will wash.
His ex partner has just told how short tempered he is, how trigger happy he is and how no way his voice could be mistaken for a womans.

The defence appears to be grasping at straws, but there again so did O.J.Simpsons.

And that's the worry, a good lawyer can work wonders.

I have followed the case and at the moment (pending further inquiry) he's as guilty as hell.

A very short tempered prima donna in my view and a tragic waste of a beautiful woman's life.

It is not just the accent.

When watching the trial, I wonder if I have my tv on the wrong speed.

Isn't there a button somewhere that changes the speed from 33 to 45?:D

I find the news today about the plane that has gone missing truly baffling in this age of technology, even the planefinder.com which I use to track when my mates will land it is pretty easy at pin spotting a planes movements, I have often when I used to live in Braintree tracked planes coming over especially if they are big ones and so much so that I could predict which area of the sky it will pass over head.

to here that no body knows where this 777 is amazing to me, you would think it would have some simple GPS even on the plane.

They cant find a plane with 239 people on board, but you can track a shark in the middle of the ocean, something is very wrong here.

They can only track it in the air.
Not so easy if it's at the bottom of the deep blue sea, though they have found a couple of oil slicks.
No distress or mayday signals heard, so it looks like the end has been sudden and dramatic.
Two passengers travelling on stolen passports may provide a clue.

Indeed, it looks bad with the passports but not set in stone if you owned a airline you might blame anything but the pilot
Still does not bode well, but if you can track a shark you can track a plane

Many aircraft are fitted with emergency signal generators that will operate for a limited time with a limited range from the seabed.
Not much good for those on board, but will possibly help find where the aircraft has ended up in order to salvage the black boxes and wreckage to determine the cause of the mishap.
