Two moons on 27th August 2007
Had this sent to me today, I'll be watching - will you!
*Two moons on 27th August 2007* *27th August; the day the Whole World is waiting for..... Planet Mars will be the brightest in the night sky starting August. It will look as large as the full moon to the naked eye. This will cultivate on Aug. 27 when Mars comes within 34.65 Million miles of earth. Be sure to watch the sky on Aug. 27 12:30 am. It will look like the earth has 2 moons. The next time Mars may come this close is in 2287. Share this with your friends as NO ONE ALIVE TODAY will ever see it again. P.s. Just thought - this only arrived in my inbox today but the sender may have meant to watch early this morning! Whoops!! |
Re: Two moons on 27th August 2007
Well it sounds quite amazing Lionda!
I was out until 3 am this morning (first night of our village fiesta) and I can't say I noticed two moons (maybe I hadn't had enough to drink!?) :D The moon was very bright though, and very nearly full - so maybe tonight's the night?? No doubt I'll be out just as late tonight, so I'll keep an eye out. Of course, this could just be a joke, and then all we will have proved is how very gullible we are?? :o |
