LED is great but newish so you pay a premium as an early opter.
Plasma if you want a large screen.
LCD is probably the best for most.

My set has decided to have a white screen, not a black one. This morning the sound was perfect, however the screen is totally white. I know that I was watching a weather report from the UK, but I have a feeling that the TV is kaput. Could this be the same as the black screen syndrome? Is a new tv the only option?

I can't help with the tech stuff, I'm afraid. I just wonder when LED prices will start dropping, they've been around long enough, surely? I'm really dying to have one..
