Our Prime Minister has declined to engage in a tv debate which would include the major political parties in UK.Is she right to do so or just nervous about questions to be answered?

Bit of a waste of time anyway. Too little substance really.

Putting Nuttall in a line up that comprised of the Remain supporting parties was always a car crash waiting to happen, but to get the name of one of your fellow delegates wrong made it even better.

What's in it for May? She thinks she's on a roll and why give the oxygen of publicity to her opponents. Too much to loose and nothing to gain.
In any case, who wants the dreadful American style electioneering in the UK where the biggest wallet gets the most coverage.

I did manage to watch this and my friends in Wales were not pleased with Paul Nuttall. He calls Leanne Wood Natalie not once but twice bless him. I thought Caroline Lucas came across very well and it is a shame she is not with a major party.

This programme was a bit of a joke.I really thought it possible that the 2 dominant party leaders would be there to take questions, but not so.I was an admirer of Maggie Thatcher, don,t think she would have avoided a debate, have you read her book"the path to power".Mrs.May is going to come up against politicians from Europe during Brexit where she,or her cohorts may find that "thinking English"won,t wash with THEIR way of thinking. You can,t dodge the issue just in case you think you could come out of it losing ground. After all they are politicians, put in power to answer for the public. If Mrs.May or Mr.Corbyn are not prepared for this, they are in the wrong job.

I suspect Mrs May will be doing very little negotiating - that task lies with David Davies and his team. She will only become involved when there are decisions to be made /denied or confirmed. The EU won't use politicians to do negotiations as there would be too much infighting as to which country should be involved and which not. The EU seems to be running scared at the moment as the financial chickens are coming home to roost. I suspect May is enjoying watching them get savaged by Farage.
