Default A trip to the Dentist

Filling dropped out a few days ago so forced to go to the dentist. Not too happy about it, dont like dentists. Found one in Oliva who spoke a little English, and we got by with my basic Spanish

She froze my gum with a spray before the injection so I didn't feel anything
I didn't feel anything of the drilling at all
The equipment all looked ultra modern and clean

It cost €45 .... the last time I had two fillings in the UK it cost me around £175

My wife has had to have a crown and a filling and that cost about €240 ... crowns are not cheap!

So another good experience at the hands of medical people in Spain

We have a brilliant dentist here in Castalla also. No waiting for treatment, just walk in and you are told to sit down and wait and you are seen to very quickly - and they are gentle and speak English Charges are reasonable too

What difference does it make if they speak English or not....you're going for their dental ability not their linguistic ability!

Yes, but when you scream with the pain (in English) it's reassuring to know that they understand you!

Because when the nice dentist asks (in Spanish) "Would you like all your teeth out and a fireplace fitted?", you don't go ¡Sí, buena idea! by mistake...
