6k should do it, including rent and bills. as long as u dont throw it about like water when you get here, eating out every night and spending all day in the pub.

i have friends renting 4 bed fincas with pools for 350€ a month at the mo, the owners would rather rent than leave it empty.

As a rule of thumb, I usually think that whatever you lived on in the UK should just about cover it living in Spain!?! The best place to live is where you want to be!? Work out whats important to you, where you need to be near, look on google earth/maps and go there!
