I often find that when I transfer a chunk of money to my Sabadell account it doesn't appear until I've sent them am email asking where it is. Then as if my magic my balance increases by 10,000euros...

I've been using Transferwise for about 7 years and can't remember ever having a problem.

Transfers from Barclays bank in the UK to Sabadell bank using Transferwise service have got better recently and are only taking seconds to transfer. 100% happy!!

Thanks for the feedback everyone, I’m pleased to say that the money has now arrived - 1 week after sending it?!

I would be intrigued to know why they took a week! Like tebo53 the last time I used them it took seconds.

Agree with you 100% . When there was a delay and I queried it this is the reply I got :

The time it takes for deposits to your EUR balance depends on how the money was sent. Please note, that bank transfers in the SEPA zone usually take 1-2 working days to arrive. SWIFT transfers can take up to 5 working days because of time differences and intermediary banks. You can learn more about it by following the link below - Guide to EUR transfers

My final update on this one.

the funds eventually arrived in my Sabadell account on 20th Aug having been sent on 11&12th Aug. The delay wasn’t with TransferWise apparently, it turns out that Sabadell had blocked my account for a week as it’s only been opened fairly recently and they had money laundering concerns about the amounts I was transferring to them.
A frustrating delay, but all resolved now (after a few calls to Sabadell call centre and then my local branch)
