We never tip if it is only coffee or alcoholic drinks, and up here in the Altiplano de Granada you get free tapas with alcoholic drinks (some of them are excellent too so for only a couple of drinks you can almost have a free lunch). If a meal, either menu del dia or al a carte, then we usually tip up to 10%, depending on the quality of the service and the cooking (ie not burnt etc).
