Hey peps
My first thread & sadly not a good one, never mind it can only get better.Well first off its about ondara shopping centre (la marina)had a great day shopping (yes i am a man)and no i,m not gay,it was actually a little trip out with my daughter to buy a few bits & lots of bobs, like i said great day 200 euros later all smiles empty wallet we approach the car & to my surprise there was a beautiful yellow piece of paper flapping under my windscreen wiper, yes you guess right it was a parking ticket.WHAT,as i first entered the private complex i drove around three times to find a space which is a feet in itself anyway i finally found a spot next to a row of about 10 cars that also could not find a space in the normal and parked in a tucked away space next to the train station along with all other 10,still on the complex,i dont feel special all the cars had one,70 euros no less, local police issued the ticket, what a scam, they called the police to do this.i could go on but my fingers are tiered & its saturday, rant over.
Peace and love to all
Rob

Welcome to the forum ... shame its a downbeat post
I'm sorry, I dont understand. I've been to La Marina many times .... there are so many parking spaces there ... it is never full. The parking area stretches right around the shopping centre AND underneath it. They are all free.
Wheres the train station car park?

Sorry to hear about your €70 fine. Very bad luck.
I too have been to La Marina many times and even at Christmas there is always plenty of parking, although not as much as at any other time.
Surely the railway station in Ondara (if there is one) must be on the other side of the N332 ??
Or is it ? I think the nearest railway "station" is a small halt at La Xara, and I believe you have to flag the train down if you want it to stop !
It would have been a long walk to get from there to La Marina shopping centre.

Is there a train station at Ondara?
On the odd occasion I have been to La Marina, parking has been no problem.

Did you go to the La Marina SC at Finestrat?

easily done, I suppose - one wrong turn if you don't know where you're going.............
wonder if they went to Carrefour?
the fine in any case would be a pita - not a scam though, surely, if he was parked somewhere he shouldn't have

Isn't it interesting how the OP has not bothered to come back on-line and explain the confusion!
Wonder if this was a true post in the first place?
