Default Thomsonfly in-flight exchange rates

I know the euro exchange rate is always a rip off but yesterday they were just doubling up - eg five pounds sterling or ten euros. When I queried the rate, I was told that it was 1.8!

Another good reason for the Uk to adopt the Euro as soon as possible.

I always pay in sterling.

But there are people who are not aware, especially those that dont fly very often.
