It's more a case of the Euro going down!

I have a trading faciity set up with Moneycorp to get a good rate. Don't want to fix it though as it may well improve again and hopefully within a month we will be transferring funds.

The rates going up and down can cause problems for some.
At the bank today; there was a short line. Just one lady in front of me, an Asian lady who was trying to exchange yen for dollars.
It was obvious She was a little irritated. . ...
She asked the teller, 'Why it change? Yesterday, I get
two hunat dolla fo yen.
Today I only get hunat eighty? Why it change?'
The teller shrugged her shoulders and said,
'Fluctuations.'
The Asian lady says, 'Fluc you white people too!'

The inflation figures have come out in the UK. They're far higher than expected. Apparently this has led to speculation that interest rates will have to rise soon, so making the pound more attractive. It's going to be a very bumpy ride.

Just remind me, didn't this happen last year about this time, and everyone said 1.25 by June.. and what happened, it shot down again. Main reason we are in the UK and not Spain!
