Telitec Javea
Hi I wonder please if anyone has heard of this company? Seemingly like say BT and Cable and Wireless in the UK Telefonica have put the network in the ground but with a relaxation there are a host of re-sellers in and around Javea? I do know that Swiss Cable has its own network
This lends itself as again in the UK when there is a fault as to who is responsible for putting the fault right? Not me guy its Telefonica sorry not us its Telitec Is that a fair interpretation please of the situation in Javea. |

Telitec, like many others, lease the lines from Telefonica and then sell on services at, usually, a reduced price. As you say, the issue is that when a problem occurs, who's responsibility is it? The good news is that we have never had a problem so this issue has not arisen. I would say that Telitec offer a good service in all respects. |
Re: Telitec Javea
thank you they do seem upfront and for the moment professional
thanks again |
Re: Telitec Javea
You contact Telefonica, they are responsible for the condition of the line.
They have improved their service over the last few years. |
Re: Telitec Javea
Thanks for that. We live in France and the viewing has been undertaken by my brother in law and our best friends who both live in Javea.
The villa is at La Guardia and this pm Telitec have come back and said sorry no network in La Guardian has to be wi-fi? Looking at Google maps it is a huge urbanisation and I am now really confused. If I cannot get reliable and high band width I will simply abort pay the costs and move somewhere where there is bandwidth. Surely Telefonica would not turn down an opportunity of cabling a large urbanisation?> Of course we cannot do anything until we arrive and by then it is too late. We live in a very rural area of France and give Orange 5 days notice and we had 20 mbt installed. I have to say find Spain frustrating on that point and joined to that is the time that mail as in snails mail takes to arrive. Have to get my head around all of this for am used to a much improved service. I suppose manana pour la manana. Still it is only for 11 months and then back to France. |

I live on a large urbanisation about 30km from Javea, and there are land lines to a small part which were built about 20 years ago. Most of it has no service at all, and Movistar have no interest in providing it.
Now there is really no incentive for Movistar to spend millions on building new exchanges and cabling for areas which maybe more expats than Spaniards who will use another service... If telitec etc have all the correct documentation why can they not install the landline...? |
