Default Telefonica answer service

Hi, I'm trying to delete a message but can't do it.

I set up the service *10# and left a test message which worked fine. I then tried to set up the answer voice in English but I can't get rid of my test message first. Someone told me you press 3 after the message but it won't go.

Any ideas?
Tx

yes that should work, either mid message or at the end just press 3 - as long as you have touch tone phone thats working properly

Hi, phone is new and working fine so it's not that.
Still won't go if I press 3 though.

I just want to do the following but it won't let me as it keeps repeating the message i left:

Pick up phone.
When the message you hear ends, press the key 1.
When the next message ends, press the key 4.
Now enter a four figure code, 0000 or any code you wish that you can remember
When the next message you hear ends press key 3
When the next message ends press key 1
Finally after one last message press key 1 again
Replace the handset.

I want to change the language so the answer service is in English but when i try and follow the instructions I keep getting the answer phone message which i can't delete.

It says to pick up phone and when message ends press 1.
Trouble is when I pick up the phone after 5 seconds I get a Spanish speaking message and then answer phone message which was left.

So I'm assuming I need to delete any message before I can change the language to English as the instructions to do it don't work at present.

ok - re, read your post

you want to set the default telefonica answer phone message ?

to do this

pick up the phone
after the message press 1
then press 1
then dial access code 0000
then press 2
then it will ask if you want to record it - so to save press 1

to delete a message someone has left you, you have to press 3 after their message or mid way through the message

have you changed the language for the settings already ?

Driving me round the bend now. It doesn't matter when I press 3 whether it's during the message or afterwards, the message still won't delete and just gets repeatedly played.

Just called 1004 and they said pick up phone and after 6 seconds press 3 then 4 and it will delete, it doesn't. :curse:
