Default Telefonica

Right had enough, just telephoned Telefonica to disconnect the line, been now 12 months of persistent telephone calls to get them to send a bill, 12 months on still no bill so over the phone she told me that the bill is 620 euros and they can't disconnect it till its paid, thought they disconnect you if you don't pay 12 mths on the phone still works, she says they won't be sending out a bill as they cant . So today of to the only bank (Banesto) i know that you can pay, without a bill only an account number to find that its closed so now to find another, any thought's on other banks that you can pay a telefonica account with no paper work would be much appreciated thanks.

We did pay in the Correos a while back. Not sure though if you need the bill. Might be worth a try though.

We have disconnected 2 telephone lines here in Spain, took a while but eventually persuaded them to send cancelation papers to our new address.. HOWEVER they haven't sent any bills, and we never received tham at our old place, so have just ignored everything, they have current addy, so if they really wanted us to pay outstanding bills they could have sent them. We had tried on numerous occasions to get lines disconnected, even to using Spanish translator, and sending faxes.

We got cut off last September because someone forgot to take out August DD, (apparently our fault cos we didn`t check on line to see if it had been paid) they took Septembers and instead of adding on Aug they just cut us off.
I phoned them up and she gave me two numbers about 100 digits long and I had to go in the bank and pay it then fax the receipt to Telefonica and they reconnected next day.
They must be able to do similar for you.
