Default Tea Tree Oil & Aloe Vera Gel....???

Probably too simple for words, but OH has a skin problem at the moment (too much diy for his liking) & has put in a request for tea tree oil and aloe vera gel to be at the house awaiting his arrival Wednesday. Our farmacia is a bit limited but you never know - what should I be asking for and what brand(s) does anyone know. Better still, anyone know definitely if any of the big supermarkets stock them?

Good point. Might suggest it, but (wild cliche'd generalisation alert.....) he is a man, and has his set idea about what I should buy hence still needing to track down said Aloe Vera gel and Tea Tree liquid

Dangerous, witch doctor, primitive, belief-laden, hocus-pocus quackery.

Should see a medical professional if there's something wrong...

Aloe vera gel often sold as "after sun" look in supermarket/famacia sunlotion section. Tea tree from any health food type shop,in essential oils. we have a "hippy" type stall in local market that sells it.

Mercadona do a fantastic Aloe Vera aftersun - very soothing & cooling - I use it just cos I like it, not cos I get burned regularly (chance would be a fine thing!) - it's great just used as body lotion

the only tea-tree anything I've ever seen in a 'mainstream' shop was nit shampoo in Iceland

a parafarmacia would be your best bet

Get him what he asked for, or he may cut off your housekeeping allowance

I use Aloe Vera cream from Mercadona too. To help you spot it on the shelf, it comes in 400ml white plastic bottle with green pump top. It is very reasonably priced.

I would recommend Lustine Xeramance cream. You can get that from farmacia @ 11.25€ / 400ml, expensive but very good.

I am sure you will get tea tree oil in any farmacia, but last time I bought in the Body Shop.

Thanks everyone for your input; unfortunately our here in the wild'n'woollies I've never seen a parafarmacia & doubt if there's one closer than central Malaga (which is a swine for parking) & health food shops or herboristerias tam poco! (well not within 45 minutes, anyway Mercadona's aloe vera and/or lopping off a bit out the back sound like two possibilities & I'll just have to ask for tea tree anywhere and everywhere... is it called tea tree or some Spanish alternative or Spanglish variant?

If Aloe Vera Gel was specified, I know this to be a drink. Aloe Vera Gelly is the clear stuff you apply to the skin.

Forever Living Products have the best range of aloe products, you may find a distributor in your area, just google.
