Not a tax, just a bill to pay annually for rubbish collection - nothing new about it at all.

Mitzy has kindly translated it for you should you need to know what it says.

As of mid last year we had to pay an extra €40 or €45 for rubbish collection on top of our usual taxes. Then in mid year I heard of people down in the town complaining about having to pay it also. So in effect its a new tax, but you should have had a letter through your door ..... La Font sent us one
