Default Tarjeta de residencia

We live in the province of Sevilla and have been adviced that we need to apply for the above by fellow expats. I assume this will be in Sevilla? Is it possible to download the application form to complete beforehand or do we need to phone to have them sent out? Many thanks. C

In Sevilla the oficina de extranjeros is in the left had tower in Plaza D'España. There are two queues and two "offices" one for EU citizens and one for non-EU. When you go for your NIE and certificate, I suggest you try and get there early, as in 8ish so you stand a chance of getting all done well within one morning.

Just use your validated EU photo driving licence as photo ID.

Thanks for the advice. Can you tell me if we need to apply for new NIE as we originally had them issued in Malaga province and we are now in Sevilla province or are they similar to NINO in UK and you have them from getting them. Sorry but this is all so confusing

As far as I know, a NIE is a Spanish national identity and never expires. I informed them of a change of address but Fred claims even that is not necessary. The Hacienda issues sheets of etiquetas (sticky labels with bar codes) and this includes your address so it seems only correct to keep your address on file correct although this may be with the Hacienda as such as opposed to the oficina de extranjeros.

We were issued with a form 031 to notify the Hacienda of change of address last year.

Went this year when we had worked out what our address would be to give the form in and the same chap (he had a beard so I could recognise him) just said not needed and tore it up!
