Our government's attitude to us can basically be summed up in 6 words.
Bend over and take it, bitch!

Well, a lot of people ask me why I want to get the hell out of the country, so here's another reason.
In the papers yesterday, the fines that will be levied against you if you dare to overfill your bin, or, gawdelpus put a bag of rubbish by the side. (even if it's on your own property.) You will face fines of up to 110 quid, which is more than they hit shoplifters for.
Personally I would have thought that a theiving b*stard was to be punished harder than someone who overfills their bin, (ie leaves the lid up more than a couple of inches.), but obviously not.
The minute my number comes up I am so out of here.

and whilst we are on the subject of rubbish .......
My island hasnt gone to the dogs............... it's gone to the sheep and the tell tale tits!!!
SORRY.....got bored and felt the need to rant lol ...............lack of finances and inability to sleep does that to a person tha knows!
it's just over one year since we became a ..... Smokefree England
I don't smoke but like to keep an open mind and i was very concerned about hte financial effects this would have on my island and it's people

as you can see the silly bwwb party that i currently allow to run the place have found a whole new way of taxing us, rubbish being one of them!?!
they even have HELPLINES to aid the snitching ratbags!!!
check it out.....................
Members of the public can call the smokefree compliance line on 0800 587 1667 to report possible breaches of the law. This information is passed to local authorities to follow up as appropriate
The compliance line received a total of 7,173 calls in the nine months from July 2007 to March 2008, resulting in 2,163 alleged breaches being passed to local authorities ........ooooerrrrrr THAT is an awful lot of snitches¬!!!
The majority of calls were received in the first month and quickly declined to around 20 calls a day, with an average of five or six alleged breaches being passed to local authorities each day.
(still too many don't you think?? - why aren't these people working? do they not have a life?? tut tut tut!! ) This downward trend in call rates suggests that compliance levels are high........... either that or the little snitches phone bill came in and its now costing them more than the REEEEward they get for snitching!!Penalties and fines for breaking the smokefree law
Local councils are responsible for enforcing the new law in England.
If you don't comply with the smokefree law, you will be committing a criminal offence. The fixed penalty notices and fine for each offence range from getting caught smoking = £30 to Failing to prevent smoking in a smokefree place = a maximum fine of £2500 imposed on whoever manages or controls the smokefree premises or vehicle
Local councils are responsible for enforcing the new law in England which means they now have yet ANOTHER get-rich- quick way to get at your money!
and they don't have to install camera's so i guess it is more lucrative than speed cams??
If someone is smoking in a smokefree place or vehicle, you should alert the manager or the person in charge of the premises or vehicle in the first instance maybe they will give me the money???
Alternatively you can contact the relevant local council or phone the Smokefree Compliance Line on 0800 587 166 7 to make a report. http://www.smokefreeengland.co.uk/th...-research.html
Iv'e searched hte site and searched some more ..........but i can't find the details of how to claim my REEEEward if I snitch??? maybe it's some secret membership thing that us BnBBC's are not privvy too ?? bit like the masons maybe .................anyone here in the SNITCHES R US SNEAKY HANDSHAKE SOCIETY?? anyone??
thanks for reading, rant over and all useless negative energy expelled from my temple lol
time for bed, said Zebedee
nighty night all
