Re: Supersol
Supersol till staff are well known for doing this, last year there was a big article in one of the papers informing people of what was going on.
Sometimes the girls do if they help you pack your stuff away into bags, other times they do it anyway. If you are worried then just use a debit card or try and pay the correct money (or close to it as possible) Writing to head office won't make a blind bit of difference as they couldnt care less. |

Re: Supersol
There is a rumour that the sour faced cashier in our local Makom smiled at someone the other day and her nose fell off with the shock of it. The staff all seem to be so miserable, and we always get smiles from the staff in Mercadona, Lidl and Carrefour, as well as the local specialist shops. :(

Is this happeneing with English or Foregin buyers only or in the report did it say that they stripe up there own aswell ?
I use Supersol a lot and did spot checks a few times after the article and I always had the correct change. The girls in my local shop are lovely and always polite so it's probably run by a decent manager which I think is the difference plus the shop is in our urbanisation. |
Re: Supersol
Hi,
Although i do not have a Supersol near me there is a Cayetano and everytime I visit I am over charged a euro, and i have to inform the staff. I was thinking about this and i came to the cynical conclusion that either the staff were diddling the Brit who does not understand the currency (thinking i was a holidaymaker) or that the Brits dio not complain because in the heat they cannot be bothered as thats what I did in the first instance. The only conclusion I came to is either the staff are cheating to keep the shop open or they are cheating because they are desperate for cash because maybe they have big mortgages Who knows LPH |
Re: Supersol
Well the best answer is vote with your feet, I wouldn't go to a supermarket where people ripped me off ......... oh ... wait a moment I use carrefour DOH
|
Re: Supersol
Mitzyboy - the difference is that Carrefour management rip you off, not the staff. Our nearest Carrefour check out girls usually smile and are honest, the store is too expensive to use much. ;)
