Anyone know if it is possible to buy a super kingsize mattress anywhere in the Malaga region (preferably as close to Benalmadena as poss.) or is this not a size that is carried in Spain? We need a new one and not sure if/where we'll find one.
Thanks!

We've found the real problem is getting the bed linen.

The Spanish king size beds are shorter than the ones you get in the UK. If you want a decent size go to Ikea!

But watch out as they would not give a refund on a faulty mattress we bought from them. It was less than 2 years old and the springs twisted and stuck out the side of the bed. My problem with their beds is no nice bedlinen or it is very expensive. I hate purple orange and putrid greens
i loathe big flowery patterns or physcho patterns. A few years back I found some lovey bed linen in Al Campo but nothing as nice since.

Hi
I have seen English Bed shops between Estepona & Marbella - they surely do "English" sizes

Bearing in mind the cost of fuel these days, surely it's just as easy to buy linen online and have it shipped to Spain? I used a Company called Divine Dreams in the UK, not only did they restore a circa 1870 bed for me, but they "made" the Egyptian linen to suit ( and they sell typical UK sizes ). Their service was first rate and shipping was a blink of an eye to them.

We've spent the past month or so researching. Most shops offer all the standard sizes i.e.
1.35, 1.50, 1.80 and 2 meters in width
and 1.80, 1.90 and 2 meters long
In Ikea they do mattresses that are 1.60m long
There are lots of 40 and 50% off offers at the minute
1.80m x 2m mattresses seem to range in price from 800-2000 euros depending on how luxury it is and the technology it uses. The other option is to buy to 90m x 2m mattresses (i.e. 2 single bed mattresses) and join them together
