I do really think it is something to do with the pigmentation of the skin, over thousands of years it have developed to with stand the sun rays. I'm most probably talking rubbish but I'm sure someone will be able to help.

.... which is why Aborigines have very very black skin and the white non indigenous population need lots and lots of sun protection. :)

no!

the conversation went something like

him 'come for a month......it's not worth coming for less'

me 'great.....we'll start saving for plane tickets then'

him 'and food, accomodation, spending money........'

me 'well, of course we couldn't expect to stay with you for nothing, we'd want to pay our way'

him 'no, I mean for the caravan park and so on.........'


This was years ago..........pre-kids for both of us, and they did have a spare bedroom
