1- we've done a clear out and have a few things to put in rubbish. Things like (I kid you not) open but unused Dodot nappies from 8 years ago (all in utility room) anywhere we can get rid as isn't right just to leave at bins.
2- we have 2 push chair stroller things and inflatables like baby floats, child floats. Anyone want them for free? We also have high chair, change mat etc.
Thx.

We have this problemo at the moment. A pile of stuff husband thought we could somehow sell but I think it should all just go to an animal welfare fund raiser shop.
With my Dad's medical supplies ( including tons of adult pads ) I gave those to Medicines Sans Frontiere . Not suggesting you do the same though.
Is there a womans family shelter somewhere close to you? You may be able to find that information via whatever Citizens type of advice yo have there. They could likely use that stuff bigtime.

When my husband died I took all of the medical supplies that I had bought to the local surgery and they were grateful because some of the things were not available to them due to the cost.
So I would ask at the doctors surgery whether they can think of any needy families and also at the town hall because they also would be knowledgeable about who is in need. If this does not work out is there a place that you could put a message listing the goods stating that they are free, I actually got rid of a TV by putting a sign on my letter box but I live in a town not out in the sticks so I do not know whether that would be applicable to your situation.
I think that you could also be successful if you advertised them on any of the sites selling second hand stuff but making sure that you put free in capitals. Not sure which sites operate in your area.

If there is a local nursery school or a library they may have a noticeboard where you can offer the items.

Hi, asking at the town hall is a good idea. I used to help at the book club (Costa Esuri Golf Club) & the money raised is used every year to buy food parcels, at Xmas, for local needy families. So, if you go to them (the town hall) they have a list. Regards Bryony
