Hello, and welcome....the first "do" would be to post this in the European forums

Go up the main page a bit and you'll find the European forum and even a Spanish forum I think. You're likely to get a sensible answer to your question....but feel free to stay down here in the Lounge and chat some nonsense

If no-one asks us, we might not be aware it is even here, and not all Mods have access to Lounge threads
Thread now on the move.......

Welcome to the Spanish forum

First tip I can offer is - don't buy, rent first!! That way you can get to know the area before committing yourself.

Learn the basics of the Spanish language, like how much is this and where is the toilet etc., The Michel Thomas cd's are good but a bit frustrating as they are slow going, they did help me though. Try your local library for Spanish cd's before lashing out good money.

I'm sure you will get lots more tips and good advice.

P.s. Look HERE

I second the sentiments about Torrevieja!!

Hell on earth.

Lovely if you like Eastern Europeans and Pikeys, but crap if you like Spain.
