Hi everyone and anyone im new to this so be patient with me we are a family of three me (65) my wife (44) my daughter (17) who are looking to move to spain to live permanant costa blanca area can anyone give me any tips do's and dont's where we can get to learn spanish etc any help will be gratefull thanks stokiejones16

Go up the main page a bit and you'll find the European forum and even a Spanish forum I think. You're likely to get a sensible answer to your question....but feel free to stay down here in the Lounge and chat some nonsense

First tip I can offer is - don't buy, rent first!! That way you can get to know the area before committing yourself.
Learn the basics of the Spanish language, like how much is this and where is the toilet etc., The Michel Thomas cd's are good but a bit frustrating as they are slow going, they did help me though. Try your local library for Spanish cd's before lashing out good money.
I'm sure you will get lots more tips and good advice.
