Hi,
Wondering if anyone on here has any recent experience of sending their children to the state school in Moraira or Benitichell?
We are considering sending our 7 and 5 year old there, they do not speak Spanish. We want them to go to a state primary in order to learn the language and be part of the Spanish culture.
I heard from a spanish parent that the Moraira classes are almost 100% Valencian? They did not send their child there because of this.
Many thanks for any information

I just wanted to check if this is true as I have heard from 2 people both spanish (granted they are friends) - who send their kids to Lady Elizabeth
1. For better English and ...
2. Because the state schools teach "100% Valencian"
Also is there any way I can check if a school teaches in 100% Valencian? I take it a phone call or the town hall?
I take it in the current Covid climate we can't just stroll in.

For any parents out there in the same situtaion:
Spoke to a mum who has kids in Teulada Primary:
1. Lessons are pretty much in Valenciano
2. There are some Castellano lessons
3. You can start school from 3 years old - you have to pay 75 euros a year for that
4. Primary starts at 6
5. They might hold your child back if they do not speak Valenciano
6. You speak to the school to determine then they would start
7. You can pay extra for lunch
8. Go to town hall to sort out paperwork
