Spring is here
Optimistic?
For the last week I have been suspicious, but this evening I confirmed it.
50-60 large raptors heading north after their winter holiday in Africa.
I guess they were Griffon Vultures but the light was too poor to confirm.

There is a Griffin Vulture colony resident in the Alcoy/Cocenteina area - part of a reintroduction into the wild project.

Yep even Hungary has not a single cloud in the Sky and is quite warm.
The Storks are due back soon. You really can't miss their fabulous and huge nests when driving around here, there's just so many and almost always on telephone posts even on busy main roads

I saw my first daffodil shoots in London yesterday. Going to be a few weeks before they flower, but it's a welcome sign.

We have daffs coming up down here and the buds are all starting to swell but I'll be buggered if its feeling anything like spring yet!

It is lovely isnt it, altho a bit hazy today! I hope that this is the spring now, not like last year when we had a couple of nice days around about now to lull us into a false sense of security - and then it rained and rained and rained and rained and..........
