Its possible to get a landline, broadband without Telefonica in most regions of Spain.

Don`t moan about telefonica use your feet and take your business elswhere.

I don`t use Orange, although I hear the service is good.

I`m writting to the further audience of BE JDR, not you.

The ones who come askin for advice on living in Spain, the region you live does not pose the same issues for many Expats in Spain.

there are a lot of links on there leading to more links - but I reckon (in my not at all perfect spanish) that all looks like what she told you

I'm reading it as 1mb up to 20mb though - which is I think what you meant?

But before you got all girlie I informed you that the service is OK from peeps I know who use it.

We were with Wanadoo, which changed to Orange, and had a problem which needed the visit of a technico. The visit was asked for in January, 2007; in February we changed to Telefonica.

The technico from Orange called in April, 2007, and there was some unpleasantness when he asked me sign a form to say that he had called.
