The dongle is a external piece of kit similar in shape and size to a memory stick.

Well we are learning things today.
This is the result of my speed test. (I can't sus how to transfer the picture on to the forum as you all seem to be able to do)

download Speed 1.4
upload speed (wait for it) 0.37 !!
And Ping (whoever he is) 49 m/secs

I bet you're all impressed with that !!

Come back the carrier pigeon.......all is forgiven.

to copy report from speedtest, just click on the bit underneath the report that says.forum copy, then just use paste to put it in your post, it won't appear as the report when you do it, but once posted, if you look at your post again, it will have changed to the image. (I only found out how to do it today)

Oh dear......I thought mine was bad. Still we just have to be a little more patient I suppose. I'm out in the sticks in North Norfolk at the moment.
It's only as good as the antiquated copper wires in the phone system.
One day it will all be fibre optic I would think. Keep taking the pills !!

Yeah............... thats how we felt about Briston!

The coast is lovely, out of season, but its VERY quiet there, and not in a good way.

Good luck with the move, the majority of the Javea lot on here seem very happy with their choice.

I love it - not many of us extranjeros left now

and more going every day

a boy in my dd's class at school - both his parents got jobs at Iceland - last ditch attempt to stay

they were told it was a 3 month trial from the start

they've both been told they'll be finishing at the end of the month - no permanent jobs for them


so I guess another family bites the dust

another family I know been here 10+ years is seriously thinking about returning

Anyone using Orange ?

The girl told me this morning, they cancel Telefonica for you and give the same service up to 20 Mb ADSL wifi 24/7, free router, free local calls for 34.95€`s a month, that is half what I pay for Telefonica, is it ok ?
Just looked on line and it seems to be right, also first two months half price if booked on line.
