Myself and my family are considering moving to spain in the near future, but the only problem is that my daughter has downs syndrome (she is aged 8). We are finding it very difficult to get info and guidance from anyone. Does anyone know of any special needs children that have made the transition to spanish life and school. Any info would be greatly appreciated..

A friend of mine has as special needs child aged 6. Her situation is that she is brain damaged, but she is in a private school for special needs in Malaga with children with various degrees of needs . She gets quite a bit of relief from the tax system as she works in Spain and is a single mum so doesn't get any support from her husband.
