At present my Spanish will was able to include my assets in UK.After Brexit I wonder if we shall have to write out separate wills.Any thoughts?

The issue is that Spanish wills can include a clause allowing them to be executed under English law - allowing the assets to be left to anyone. I wonder if this clause will still be valid once the UK leaves the EU.

I imagine so, as it is EU law that this facility is available and that would not change after Brexit as Spain, where the will was written, will still be in the EU.

The EU law dealing with cross-border inheritance never affected the UK as the UK opted out (along with Ireland and Denmark).
This article suggests separate but complementary wills should be used.
