Spanish Speed limit changed

Hi all

Just heard that since early March this year - the speed limit in Spain was changed to 110 kms per hour...

Watch out for the speed checks

but remember it's still 120 in Portugal so your Faro airport run won't be affected

I have seen many new 110 signs already in place.

Also I believe they are installing average speed cameras

Seems a bit bizarre not to say perverse - you'd think that they would put the speed limit up so that they would get more tax and VAT in these days of austerity.

I wonder if the Osborne has thought of that!
