Question Spanish residency?

Does the Spanish government require visas before granting permanent residency? How does that relate to people from outside the EU?

Default Re: Spanish residency?

If you are not an EU citizen you will need a visa to live in Spain.

That can only be obtained from the Spanish Embassy in the country you presently reside in.
