This started out as an interesting and relevant thread but is now degenerating again. If it doesn't get back on topic I will close it. I generally find that the darker the meat (and chewier) definitely the tastier. However.... for a cheap 'n' cheerful version, the Jamon Hembra from Lidl :thumbsup: is not half bad. Ref jamon y queso pitufos etc., they're not all bad either, guess it depends on the source of the jamon, hence this thread! Asparagus... another way is to get the asparagus al dente then cook in a frying pan or equivalent with a splodge of olive oil & some taquitos of jamon until the asparagus has just taken a bit of colour. Yum. Pendantic..... well that made me smile. Interestingly the link still worked! Good subject for thread, paintermujer.:) |
