I assume all new rental cars have this Eco label now? Renting a car from Madrid in July and will be driving through Valencia then further down the coast and just want to be sure I won't be hit with any fines.
Thanks

I have a German registered vehicle with both a German sticker and a French CritAir sticker. I think that'll do me. If I end up with a problem when I use it in Spain I'll cross that bridge etc etc.

Walking around today I didn't find a single parked car with the eco sticker. Must be mainly a peninsula thing...
Has anyone here actually gotten theirs?

Had ours well over a year for the Citreon and the Moke now has Historic status so its Ok as well.
Do you have any cities with over 50,000 people???
If not then you have no zones.

Its best parked out near one of the stations and use public transport.
Search here for the regulations and what each city allows.

You will only get checked if going into the cities and to be honest only a fool would try to drive around Valencia.

Can't be worse than driving around Montevideo where we currently live.
We'll ask my wife's cousin who lives there. I guess we'll be taking the metro then.
We'll be staying around Poblados Del Nord

On a side note, I see France has started the first steps to try and scrap low emission zones -
French MPs vote to scrap low-emission zones in blow to Macron

Low Emissions ?
Every year (every) most villages & towns in Valencia (at least) in the winter months have a blanket of smoke laying across them due to burning wood either at home or in the fields.
This is easily seen when driving around as most villages / towns lie in a valley etc and this smoke can be seen like a blanket sitting overhead as it cannot rise any further due to the thermocline cold area above.
Amazed that no one says a word even though it is in their faces (should they care to look of course) but many of those will parrot what they have read about low emissions like a bunch of clapping seals.
