Spanish Building Insurance -Public Liability 150k???
Hi All
I'm trying to arrange building insurance for our flat in Spain (via BMI) but the property/public liability is only 150k euros . Is that the norm in Spain because over here in the UK the cover is on average £2m - 5m ?
If the worse happens and there is an electric fire or massive water damage which injures some third party (or even causes their death) , then one can get sued a lot more than 150k euros ?
Does anyone on this board have names of any insurance companies that will cover our overseas property with a higher public liability cover (that can be left empty for several months at a time because we are not going rent it out again)?
