A very effective way to get rid of some excess weight....

I got infested by a similar parasite in the Amazon rain forest region of Peru, resulting in larvae hatching out under my skin and wriggling around.
I was told by a local doc that they would die off after a couple of weeks and simply be absorbed, causing no lasting harm.
This was around 15yrs ago, so I guess he was right as I've not had any further problems since.
Didn't half itch at the time though!
