Smoking Ban, Part 2
I was going to update the previous thread but see it has been closed. Just an update read today that the date of 22nd June has been put forward as the date the total smoking ban will occur. Now sit back and wait!

I quite agree although I am quite a heavy smoker. I need a ban to help me stop smoking again but the trouble is, it's illegal to smoke at work but the boss allows it and I don't think an outright ban will make any difference at work.

My condolences. That's one terrible addiction to have. Should you succeed in shaking it off, I will take off my hat to you.

It's entirely my fault, nobody forces me to do it but I'm very weak on this. I've been smoking since I was 12 but gave up for around a year and a half before I left the UK but the stress of moving to France started me off again. I'm down from 60 a day to around 40 so it's a start lol.

E-cigarettes have got the anti smoking lobby in a bit of a Tiz in the UK at the moment. They are hoping they will go away but just in case they are trying to invent spurious deceases that COULD occur in the manufacturing process.
At the moment they are legal in most countries in the EU. The only things they use are Water and Nicotine and a bit of electricity to produce a bit of steam. Not the Five to Eight hundred chemicles that tobacco contains.
They can be used in the purely steam driven mode or up to 5 different nicotine levels.

I guess most of the Spanish will be annoyed as most smoke, out of a group of around 10 Spanish friends all smoke where as in the UK I only knew one smoker in the same type of group, mid late 40`s married with kids.
