Has anyone subscribed to it? I did it yesterday (it's half price for LIFE if you subscribe before the 25th) ..
Seems impressive so far, extensive catalog of 90s and 2000s films and series, a few new ones as well.
Watched a couple of films on it already, and it's decent quality, loads quickly. I like it.

The half-price deal at 2.99/month looks like an absolute bargain, especially since you can keep the discount for life if you hold on to your subscription.
Is the streaming quality comparable to other streaming services like Netflix or Disney+? Also, no issues with switching to the original (English) version of shows/movies or turning on English subtitles for instance?

Easy as, if not easier than netflix to change languages and subtitles.
Good menu system.
Quality on our 50" telly is great. No difference with that or netflix.
Well recommended, especially for the price.

Good catch, at 2.99/month you really cannot go wrong and even if you watch just one show or 1-2 movies that you cannot stream elsewhere you're already putting your money to good use.

Give it time and it might pop up again.
I almost signed up via a Poland link as they had the exact same promo (50% for life) but at a different time.
Not sure how to keep informed about these promos though (maybe a luckily-timed Facebook ad for once?). If not for bfg69bug I would have missed this latest Spanish offer completely...

on my youtube page it shows an advert saying "12 months at the price of 8" - so now they have another offer - when you click on "prubelo gratis" (try it free), they offer 7 days free, then 5,99 a month, or a one of payment of €46,99 a year. - basiclly the offer - 5.99 x8 is 47.92 so you pay for 8 months or so but can watch for a year.

Still not a bad deal, this 12 for 8, but if you do see another 1/2-price offer then do let us know so others can sign up as well.

Skyshowtime doesn't appear to have any promo at present and is still at 5.99, but I have noticed that HBO MAX has a decent price for annual plans. Their monthly plan is currently 8.99 but if you go for an annual package then it's discounted to 69.99. That makes it about 5.83 a month so not back for what is bound to be a more content-heavy streaming service than Skyshowtime is at present...

We took the annual contract with HBO, I think it was about 60 at the time. Next year we're just going to take it out for the winter months as there's really not enough new content and we don't watch much over the summer. It's still a lot better value for money than Apple TV+ though. You can get away with 1 month per year with that one.
I'm already hopping around between Netflix and Disney+ even though they have more content, so all the others don't really warrant annual subscriptions unless someone has a lot of catching up to do...
