Weve had no skype now for at least 2 days.It appears that millions worldwide are being affected by it.

If it dosent come back then I cant watch my daughter in England open her presents on xmas day which would be awful and I cant speak to other family members.

Anyone elses skype down at the mo?

Mine was down most of last night after about 6pm from central Europe and my mates in the Uk was as well, everything seems fine this evening both ends.

I didn't realise it runs out after 180 days if you don't use it.....I must be in danger of losing mine!

I have skype but no idea how to use it so I guess it will be disconnected soon, no oneI know has skype their end so maybe I am just a billy no mates

you can still use skype to call a normal landline and I think it is charged at about 1.5p per minute or a local call if they call you.

If both ends have skype then you pay nothing.

I spend hours on video call to my daughter and its freeeeee!!!!!!!!

Try and get your head around skype cos it may save you lots of call charges.

I don't think your Skype will be disconnected if you don't use it; only if you have bought Skype time - that credit will be gone if not used.

We have used Skype for years and never paid a penny.
We route our calls through Voipcheap, free through the computer or 5cents connection if you use it through your landline, no minute charges except to mobiles.

I even use it whilst mobile from my Smart phone
