Re: Sky tele
Do you get any ex pat papers there ? there are normally many people offering installation services.
Here we use a 1.9 meter dish with a sky box with a free view card so we only get the free channels
Cheers Tony

Re: Sky tele
Yes you do need a dish, as Sky TV comes from satellites.
The size of dish you require will depend on what channels you want, and where exactly you are located in Spain
Although in most of Spain, most of the main uk channels can be received on a 1m dish, at the moment, in mid 2013, the main UK channels like BBC ITV C4, will be moved to a new satellite, whose reception in Spain will be unknown until it is operational, and so a dish installed to day may not receive these channels after they have moved.
Some channels have already moved, which is why in this thread

the changes have been discussed, and people in the COsta del Sol / Andalucia and the south west of Spain have "lost" some channels, as their current dishes are no longer big enough to receive these channels.
