A free to air receiver however has to be able to pull in the signal from ANY satellite so is designed & built to be stronger than the Sky box.

The proof as they say is in the pudding, you will spend a lot more on a call out & Smart Titanium than you will buying a decent FTA box.

Pace; manufacturered in West Yorkshire. Sure it's good to buy British & all that, but British technology is woefully behind the far east so yeah I'd rather take one of those 'tat' boxes anyday.

And I thought thats where their headquarters were, their boxes were made offshore and shipped in....

Good luck then with your 30eu (your words) stronger FTA box.
The evidence (dear boy) is quite the opposite from my experience, but I will one day try a high end Humax or similar & live with having no EPG.

I'm quoting fact not opinion playa, don't bother with a high end box, read up & you'll see others agree with me. You will receive more channels with less interuptions on a FTA receiver & yes they all have EPG but I will concede that Sky's EPG is the best........... but it's no good if there is no picture!

That maybe the case now I don't know. I grew up in West Yorks so had a few mates that worked there but we've all lost touch now.
