New white Sky card works fine, although I haven't tested the white card on premium channels. Blue one worked fine though.

Lets you record 2 HD channels or normal channels at the same time, and you can watch a third if it is on one of the 2 tuned transponders. So, for example you could record BBC1 and ITV1 while watching ITV2... Or watch one and, watch and record a second.

The other big difference from a Sky box is you don't have to flick through a huge list of channels you don't subscribe to. Just the ones you want.

Lastly the box is compatible with other satellites so with the right antenna system there are thousands of channels to choose from that aren't available on 28E. Also lots of time you can watch stuff free that you have to pay for on Sky Sports (like Chelsea/Arsenal or speedway, etc).
